NEWS

In 2019, WWAR grew its focus into Adaptive Sports teams. We established our wheelchair softball team by participating in the NWSA World Series in Kansas City, MO as the Rollin Warriors. The Rollin Warriors placed 3rd in Division II. An awesome start!  Wheelchair Basketball and Quad Rugby season started up in the Fall .

Our wheelchair rugby team came into the season a storm with a dedicated group of players. The Rollin Warriors participated in a full USQRA season participating in 6 tournaments throughout the nation including Houston, TX, Jacksonville, FL, and Richmond, VA. We even hosted two tournaments, one of those being the USQRA East Coast Semi Final tournament. Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the USQRA national tournament in Rockford, IL was cancelled. The team was excited for this as we placed 2nd in our sectional tournament and qualified to participate. This was an excellent year for Rollin Warriors and we have built a strong foundation for years to come in the USQRA community.
